Brandon Wong, ASW

Brandon Wong is a Registered Associate Clinical Social Worker (ASW) at Common Ground Therapy Group, practicing under clinical supervision. He works with new and expectant dads, couples navigating the transition to parenthood, and individuals working through life transitions.

Brandon's approach draws on the Gottman Method (Level 1 trained) for couples work, along with a practical, structured style suited to clients who want concrete tools alongside genuine connection. He is a Clinical Member of the Postpartum Health Alliance and has a particular focus on the early years of fatherhood — the shifts in identity, routine, and relationships that come with becoming a parent.

In addition to individual and couples therapy, Brandon facilitates the practice's Dads Support Cohort, an 6-week small-group program for new and expectant fathers. Groups are limited to 3–6 participants and run both virtually across California and in person in San Diego, depending on interest.

Brandon sees clients in person in Mission Valley, San Diego, and via telehealth throughout California.
