THERAPY FOR WOMEN IN SAN DIEGO & ACROSS CALIFORNIA
The next chapter deserves as much care as the ones before it.
Individual therapy and couples counseling with Leila Savage, AMFT — for women navigating midlife, step-parents building blended families, and couples working on what comes next.
Midlife is a real transition. It deserves real support.
Changing roles, shifting relationships, kids growing up, parents growing older, a career or identity that's ready for a second look — the middle chapters of life bring more change than almost any other season, and often with less acknowledgment.
Leila works with women who want a thoughtful, collaborative space to sort through what's changing and decide what they want their next chapter to look like. Her approach draws on Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Internal Family Systems (IFS), and the Gottman Method for couples work — with room for every part of who you are. Clients of all backgrounds, identities, and family structures are welcome here.
Midlife transitions — Renegotiating roles, relationships, and identity as life shifts — on your own terms and at your own pace.
Step-parenting and blended families — Building a new family structure is real work. Leila helps step-parents and couples navigate roles, expectations, and connection in blended families.
Couples counseling — Gottman Method-informed work for couples strengthening communication and partnership through life's middle chapters.
Relationships and identity — Understanding the patterns you carry, the boundaries you want, and the version of yourself you're growing into.
