About Leila Savage, Associate Marriage & Family Therapist in San Diego
You've built a life.
Now you're wondering if it's the one you actually want.
I work primarily with women at a crossroads — questioning a relationship, an identity, a career, or a life that no longer feels like their own. I draw from CBT, IFS, feminist therapy, and client-centered therapy to help you reconnect with who you've always been, beneath the expectations, fear, and self-doubt.
You did everything right.
So why doesn't this feel like your life?
Maybe you're questioning your identity or who you're attracted to. Maybe a relationship is shifting in ways you didn't expect. Maybe your career, your body, or the role of caregiver has quietly taken over — and you don't recognize the person carrying it all.
You don't have to have it figured out before you walk in. You don't even have to know what the question is yet, only that something feels off.
This is a space to slow down and make sense of what's happening — without being told who you should be.
As a multiracial therapist with Middle Eastern roots and the daughter of an immigrant, I bring lived experience alongside clinical training to this work. I offer an affirming space for LGBTQ+ individuals and for anyone whose identity or relationships fall outside traditional expectations.
HOW I WORK:
My approach is collaborative, trauma-informed, and affirming. Every part of your experience is welcome here.
A lot of the women I work with carry anxiety, perfectionism, people-pleasing, shame, grief, or the lasting effects of trauma. Often these patterns have kept you disconnected from yourself for a long time, sometimes without you fully realizing it.
Together, we'll explore where those patterns came from — and build greater self-trust, self-compassion, and clarity about what you actually want, not what you've been told to want.
My goal isn't to hand you an answer. It's to help you uncover who you've always been, underneath the noise.
